Much better than a lot of the crappy designs put on there. :)

However, plasma would be an energy weapon, not high-explosive.

Actualy shaped charges make plasma jets. There fore they are high-explosive.
Plasma is hard to produce in a stand off weapon. I used plasma torches to cut sheet metal and it's like hot knife throught the congeled animal fat.
I don't see what good a weapon it would be, plus you're plugged into the wall I can't see a battery pack that would generate a plasma 'beam'.

Oh, absolutely! However, I was just trying to correct their sentence structure: "Plasma attacks from high explosive attacks", does not make sense. Either it's one or the other. If they mean anti-armour munitions, then they should state it. Using that particular phrase was just misleadingly confusing.

Plasma weapons, yeah, they're not very practical! There is an essay at the www.stardestroyer.net site, which goes into detail about why it would be such an unlikely device, that nobody would really bother trying to make them. Particle beams and LASERs are much more effective. :)
