Sarah and Ellison
May 4 2008, 11:58 AM EDT Shoot I hear a lot of talk of Sarah being paired with Derek or Charley? What of Ellison? Out of the two men he knows the most about her. He's religious which feed a bit of her ideas. Unlike Derek Dark-O he's much brighter and idealistic and definitely moving to believing her. Unlike Charley, he doesn't seem to be romantically attached. Plus he seems to be within her age group...I don't see why these two aren't a viable couple. Out of both guys it would seem that Ellison would have the clout not only to save her ass but also to give her the leverage needed within the government but also a level of protection that the other's can't provide since he can get her off the grid faster than anyone else. I don't get this waste on Derek and Charley...when Ellison would be far more viable as a future love interest. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 4 2008, 12:25 PM EDT "Shoot I hear a lot of talk of Sarah being paired with Derek or Charley? What of Ellison?I agree COMPLETELY. Maybe Agent Ellison is the right man for her. And as a possible mole within the governent to help them all out. He already is in the same boat as Charlie and they've paired up in the season finale as the two regular Joe's swept up into the madness. Sarah and her "family" need important allies. Heck, he could be the Skinner to their Mulder and Scully. =) Ellison also seemed to be unhitched. At least from what I could tell. Do you find this valuable? |

All the things you listed would make him a good ALLY not necessarily a good love interest. I like Ellison but I think he might be too religious for Sarah. Do you find this valuable? |

May 4 2008, 4:47 PM EDT Is Sarah a prize in a lottery drawing???? Where can I purchase a ticket (or 500)??? Can't see the writer's spending what little available time they have in plot development opportunities for any Sarah love triangles (squares??). Any man that likes a strong female (I do) would certainly find Sarah a "knock-out"; they just don't have the time....yea, yea...IMHO just a thought, K e v Do you find this valuable? |

May 4 2008, 5:04 PM EDT "Is Sarah a prize in a lottery drawing????Yeah, plus Sarah will push away anyone she really loves (i.e. Charlie) in order to protect them. Hence she isn't likely to pair-off with anyone. Well, except as someone mentioned, maybe Cameron, who doesn't need protecting! Do you find this valuable? |

I sinicerely doubt she'd touch her son's father's brother and I don't think she'll be macking with a married man---even if his wife might be a machine. ^_^ (I could jsut see that happening. I think Ellison is just as good as anyone and opposities attract, they're paths keep crossing and he's the closest to giving her an edge in the government that the other's don't. Not to mention he's like a death repellant. Cromartie hasn't killed him and he's had the chance several times. Do you find this valuable? |

May 4 2008, 10:44 PM EDT "Is Sarah a prize in a lottery drawing????Basically this is stemming from the talk of Sarah with Charlie or Derek, this is not off of the writers sitting there and pairing since I'm not a shipper of any couple for the show. But I do have to say that I noticed a few threads just either pushed Sarah with the two above without any consideration to another likely candidate who I think has a better chance. As for romance they spent about 5 full minutes in the premiere ep on Sarah and Charlie...and they gave her and Charlie moments of romance in Episode 6 and 7...so obviously yeah...the writers do have the time if they want to add it in. RE: Sarah and Ellison
May 5 2008, 2:10 AM EDT Romance really is an important tool in storytelling even in an action flick. Just about every movie.. action, comedy, drama, etc.. has some taste of romance. Even TSCC has done it. The writers have obviously put something between Charley and Sarah after she left.. when they're in the backyard and Charley is about to leave and she leans up, like she is expecting a kiss and then he kisses her on the head... or the tension between her and Derek. The writers could have chosen ANY type of setting for Sarah to talk to Derek about Sarkissian but they chose a scene in which Sarah busts in on him while in the shower..... they're adding little flavors of romance and you know they're going to continue doing that. They might not focus on Sarah's love lfie but they will drop little pieces here and there. But which character will they focus on more when it comes to Sarah's few and far in between romantic scenes? I'm gonna say both Derek and Charley. Why not? As far as Ellison...... I don't know, it's too early to tell. Like someone had mentioned, he's FBI and she's gotta be seriously weary of that fact alone. i think the two will grow some sort of bond and maybe after several seasons we'll see something grow from that. But, I really think it's too early to even think Ellison as a possibility yet. But thats just me. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Sarah and Ellison
May 5 2008, 3:01 AM EDT I'm not even expecting it on screen. My position is basically playing devils advocate. I think I would prefer the series far more if there was no romance. I'm already seeing a lot of man-machine love and then there's possibility of pathetic (John) with more pathetic (Cheri)---that's a bit scary; so they have plenty on their plate. This is to garner discussion and give an alternate option. Not to mention if there is a pairing in the long run I'd sooner see it between Ellison and Sarah more than most of the others...and they haven't even shared a bloody scene yet. They have that whole "star-crossed" lovers thing going currently and probably for a few more seasons. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Sarah and Ellison
May 5 2008, 9:54 PM EDT Haven't really seen them together to know if there is any chemistry there or not. Kinda think that the Charlie thing has more merit. They had him looking at her picture after she was gone much the same way that Kyle looked at her picture for so long so maybe they were drawing a parallel of sorts. As for Derek I like him being the hardened resistance fighter on the show - and even though they may have set him up to take Kyle's place (or not) I think I would prefer if he remained the guy he was rather than getting all romantic with Sarah. RE: Sarah and Ellison
May 5 2008, 10:26 PM EDT I think they should be kept seperate for now....if the FBI (goverment) gets involved, then it might mean a quick end to the series. The government and Team Conner working together would probably defeat....or at least reach a conclusion too quick this early in the show. So I think if it does happen, not do it till the end of the series. Do you find this valuable? |
