Futuristic Weapons Catalogue
Apr 16 2008, 10:37 PM EDT What was that gun used to blast the triple 8 in the bank vault taking its head off, and what other weapons are there. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Futuristic Weapons Catalogue
Apr 17 2008, 3:53 PM EDT They never really said what it was called, the "gun" from the bank. But it is radioactive. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Futuristic Weapons Catalogue
Apr 18 2008, 3:06 AM EDT True they never gave the weapon a name; although I can’t say it’s radioactive without knowing the materials used. It was more like an electrical pulse weapon, a thunder gun if you will (yes I know thunder is the sound that comes after a lightning strike, it just sounds cooler). The Isotope was applied as some sort of mega capacitor it was used to collect and store the electrical energy that was being created. One theory of how it works that is based on some principles, is that you need three things to create electricity, relative motion, magnetic field, and a conductor. If you noticed the lower part of the weapon was spinning creating the relative motion. The copper looking metal you saw in the round parts that was spinning was the conductor. With those two elements going you create a magnetic field. I don't know the rpm of the device but I'm sure whatever it was, it was creating lots of electricity and being store into the isotope. Once it changed color that was more than likely when it reached it max charge. In short think of as a cattle prod from hell that can shoot rather than jamming into your prey. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
