Time Travel & Future technology.

The writers of TSCC really should do better homework on the movies characters and technology, such as the head going through the time portal in the bank vault it should have been a melted down puddle of slag when it landed 8 years in the future (on like the 3rd episode), Cameron's personality should be more like (the Arnold) instead of a 10 key and Sarah should be more like Linda Hamilton without the added personality of a Brit that wants to be inventive and these cromarties should have stray dogs chasing them, and this idea of time travel being so easy to do there should be alot more conundrums or a hyperlaser from the future (bluprints sent back) to burn a hole clean through the ever so easy to remove brain chip with the help of a targeting system scope another blueprint or just grow skin on the hand weapons and ,and, blah, blah, blah...etc...etc... In other words if they want this series to work Star Trek it up a bit with caches of future devices like a scanner that you can see the indoskeliton or a thermite shotgun shell that could actually slow down a T-BOT And how about cameron protecting her skin more often (like use a pipe to shove through a power generater instead of a leather glove and the skin on her hand) at least she could say "I didnt want to get hurt" LOL.

I really disagree with you about this "Cameron's personality should be more like (the Arnold)." Why? Because Camerons a completely different terminator and their's still things that are a mystery about her. So NO I don't think her personallity should be more like (the Arnold), because then Cameron wouldn't be "different." 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

People don't want the same old same old. The audience viewers want somthing new and this series has done that. I think if you were expecting Arnold to be in it you're dream will never become true. Because Cameron is deffinatly not Arnold. If she would ack like arnold. She would act like a man. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Why are you complaining, ednight, if you don't like TSCC then you shouldn't have signed up on this wiki. You're free to your opinons, but please don't complain about minor things. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

If Cameron is an upgrade she would have preprogrammed behavioral skills to be able to just blind in, for this to be a successful show millions of viewers have to watch so we fan can have a 4,6,8, year run. Arnold was an outdated t-bot and beat a t-2 and a t-3 if Cameron is an upgrade she should be depicted as a smoother version of Arnold a femfatale to be believable when terminating terminators, something to get and keep viewers and that means the adult women should see something in her they can admire something intreging not an blank harddrive or else we loose the show sooner, I'd prefer later! 0  out of 1 found this valuable. ednight,

The head came through because even though it was "burning" there was enough flesh on it to allow it to come through unharmed. Friedman explained this in one of his interviews.

As for Cameron, she is a "protector", not a "terminator" (IMHO). Unlike a T-800, T-1000, or T-X. Cameron kills only when she has too, and only when there is a threat to John, Sarah, or herself.

This is television, and having a Terminator running around killing people every week will result in a short life span. Even in T2, young John taught Arnold's T-800 not to kill ("he'll live").

We have had too many real shootings (e.g., Virginia Tech) and shows like TSCC can find that balance between life and death. I prefer a "cool" terminator/protector at this point which Cameron is and should continue to be.

It would boost audience if Arnold did a cameo as the human general that his terminator was made from. Arnold was the big deal in the movies Cameron should be the big deal in the series, she needs to be shown as the PLOT DEVICE with the futuristic technology as an attention getter, I think that there should also be some sort of futuristic Skynet City that is populated by the non-terminator robots, there has to be an end scenario for skynet maybe some kind of perfect world that only robotics can create, an Eden with a master plan not a burned out destroyed wasteland for the terminators to shut down after thier mission is complete thusly terminating themselves, or again we loose another sci-fi tv show. Most of your points will be shown in the new trilogy of Terminator movies, starting with T4 in May 2009.

Since this is tv I can accept the creative solutions to complete story lines but it has to be evident in the show not explained in an interview.
I agree about the killing stuff kneeshot and butt shots for humans yes but when you have Cromartie killing eight FBI agents at once, you loose your point. I'd rather see Cameron with a thermite weapon killing eight T-Bots, Cameron was a human terminator now reprogrammed to be a T-Bot terminator and as for useless killing resulting in a short life span these scientists need to be sent to the future yeah the movies said its a one way trip but advances are made and this is tv so excuses can be explained in interviews. The show needs a hot sophisicated Cameron and Lots of future techno gadgets to balance the killings of arrogant scientists and ignorant gov't agents, at least my many years of watching sci-fi points in that direction, proof 10 years of stargate sg1, startrek tng, the outer limits and the twilight zone long lived on tv and remakes, spinoffs, and movies. We do have real shootings of sinseless random violence, that will continue regardless of tv, if anything I'd rather see sad vigilantee students killing crooked politicians instead of teachers & students. yes/no

The war with the machines and Skynet' eventual demise will be covered in the three upcoming movies. Christian Bale will play John Connors.

This is kind of old news.

You never saw Cromartie kill anyone. Just SWAT team members falling into a pool. We don't know whether they are dead or alive. Some could be knocked out, some wounded.

So my point still stands.

Maybe you should watch TV news to get your fill of real kills.

Just that its set in the future, around 2019. There is a new Terminator, "Marcus".

Do you think that Cameron was down stairs with the ballet music when Reese was chained to the floor at the safe house in the future and I think they were making T-bot clones of humans but not sure if in the future Cameron is a third party contender in the war?

Thanks for the Chola thread

With that in mind it might be possible. Because if they make the scene really short they could do it. And if they can't they can maybe get a new recording of his voice and film a look a like from behind or somthing. It's been done. There have been many shows were famous actors appear on Televison. Examples can be: Val Kilmer, Harrison Ford, Ben Stiller and more.
