What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 3 2008, 12:25 AM EDT The biggest pace of his job was to work on this case...Since there was no witnesses it may be difficult for him to explain the huge number of casualty's involved in the team that was sended out and all evidence is gone to prove him inicent. Dose that open door for a suspension form his job and allow a new FBI agent to work on that case? 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 3 2008, 1:52 AM EDT Im in Australia and have only seen 7 eps so far , but I dont think Agent Ellison would worry about a suspension, he knows Sarah is not a raving lunitic and he knows about the terminators so im guessing in the new season he tells the boss to get stuffed and joins Sarah, John, Derek and Cameron, in saying that I cannot wait to see his reaction when he finds out the truth about Cameron - what she really is - 0 out of 1 found this valuable. RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 3 2008, 2:10 AM EDT one of the benefits of Ellison joining the Connors is that he is FBI. They have inside news on stuff. It's always good to have an "inside man." So, if he is suspended, he's just another body or another gun. They don't necessarily need that, they need his connections as an FBI agent. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 15 2008, 10:04 AM EDT If there was one terminator sent back - infilitrating the FBI, why couldn't there be two, or three or a hundred - spread all across homeland security, FBI, CIA, anywhere really. MAybe Ellison simply says I don't know what happened - 200 rounds where fired into the room (easily proved), the guy threw every one of my agents into the pool (again easily confirmed) in the space of 40 seconds then walked away - I could see there was metal under his skin where we shot him. If there ask him for more - he just says "we have no way of knowing". How did he throw that many agents so far and so fast? - We have no way of knowing! How did he survive that many rounds point blanck? - We have no way of knowing! What is he? We have no way... Its a stonewall - but its an honest, non spectulative answer. So the FBI launch a massive investigation - they have a face, they know what he was searching for - method and motive, they can and would very publicly offer a large reward and they know for some unknown reason they need much larger guns! If many of the agents weren't shot - but died of massive blunt force trauma, added to the distance and pace which they were all thrown - the FBI is left to deal with a single prerprator with supernormal strength, speed and impervious to bullets - you think a light would go off and the guy would make their most wanted list. So the writers have to credibly play how do senior FBI officers deal with such a anomolous outcome when nothing adds up? Its too public to dissappear, its too wierd not to call in expert help, its too dangerous not to escalate and not get top attention - and their weapons don't work! 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Apr 15 2008, 3:21 PM EDT "Hmmm... they might have to put up a Post Office wanted poster of a terminator endoskeleton head: have you seen this individual? BTW, have you noticed that poor Agent Ellison is always getting blindsided? On the verge of capture, Sarah and John escape from inside a locked bank vault; Dr. Silberman drugs his tea, ties him up and stabs him in the leg; a massive sure-thing SWAT assault is decimated in front of him. He must seem jinxed to the FBI. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 15 2008, 10:13 PM EDT i think that in season 2 he'll find out where the connors live and go there. he and sarah are talking when derek shows up and it is explained that he is a resistance fighter. then cameron shows up, still showing off a lot of endoskeleton from the explosion. then ellison will have no choice but to believe sarah. RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 15 2008, 11:08 PM EDT If James manages to keep his job, he'll get moved to the basement next to Mulder. I think James will eventually have to choose between joining Team Connor or joining Silberman in the mental hospital. His reports to his superiors are just going to become more unbelievable as he continues to investigate Sarah. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 16 2008, 12:15 AM EDT I think it would be interesting that he keeps his Job. But secretly uses Sarah Connor as a infomant. Sort of like Commisioner Gordon in Batman. He denies working with Batman at times but he get's him to do what's right when nobody else. So Agent Ellison may get Sarah Connor stop they robots. Sort of like a secret Calaboration. Vigilante style in the show and Cameron could be that vigiante Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 16 2008, 8:48 AM EDT Maybe he will quit the FBI and join forces with Sarah, John, and Cameron. By now, he has to be convinced! Do you find this valuable? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 16 2008, 9:23 AM EDT You know I have nanother really big bugbear - the terminators and Skynet's main advantage pre judgment day is no one knows it is comming. Make it completely obivious it is and you'd have whole world governemnts trying to stop it. They keep the few against the machine - chase, hide, hunt, cycle going - only by trying to stay covert so religiously - justified only by if future technology gets out it might hasten Judgement day (which is inevitable anyway)! That's really lame. Cameron goes on google or any major network and does the "we're scary monster from the future and we are going to kill you if you let us be built" and it would be rather a compelling story. Walk up as a hyper alloy struck wo a presidental motorcade or event and kill everyone on prime time and walk away unscathed by the firepower of an entire US secrect service battalion and think any part of humanity wouldn't take you deadly seriously and try and thorw all its resources behind stoping Skynet? The Queens gambit - once Skynet exists is effectively unstoppable, before its operational its weak as a baby if its revealled to super powers and prevented from gaining any effective power. Its mind boggling stupid how no one has explored this premise and played this card. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 16 2008, 8:01 PM EDT Mind you when the FBI report filters its way up I can see the military being very interested - and several research teams put into action to a) determine what happened, b) duplicate the effect - better armour, scary robots, etc. ... c) develop a means of defeating such a system. The Military are unlikely to want to destroy Chromartie but to capture it. Perhaps the slaughter of the FBI team hastens J Day by spurring the military to develop autonomous weapon systems faster particularly since 'they' (the enemy) obviously have some such thing. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 18 2008, 2:38 AM EDT I do have to say this with out his character the show wouldn't work. He brings a sence of drama to the show that Can't be replaced. Espcieally in the scene with Dr. Silberman in the episode Demon hand. Plus in the Season Finale when he stands in front of Cromartie and prays to god that he doesn't get shot dead by Kester/Cromartie. His investigations as an FBI agent makes the show so much more convinceing. I hope they don't write his chrarcter off the show. He is like the Curtis Manning (24) of Terminator: SCC. If they replace him he will be missed. I would love to see him still as an FBI agent who secretly works with Sarah Connor. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 18 2008, 8:36 AM EDT Maybe everyone's alive and Cromartie didn't kill anyone! All "we" saw were people being thrown in a pool. Some blood, yes. Could be wounded. This is a leap, I know. :) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 18 2008, 10:11 AM EDT balderdash makes a good point , although the terminators want to keep there ID a secret , information in the right hands is a bonus to them Plus it's important to remember skynet's main job is not to insure judgement day , they take judgement day as something that will happen and cannot be stopped , there main task is to stop what happens after judgement day , were connor leads the resistance against them. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Apr 18 2008, 11:07 AM EDT You would think all of the Terminators sent back would not want to draw attention to themselves. Obviously, this is not part of their missions. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 18 2008, 8:45 PM EDT The role of the FBI is very complicated. Sarkissian's people somehow had access to Sarah's files (Cromartie?) and Enrique was an informant. There is really nothing to stop Cromartie from continuing to masquerade as an agent in public and he seems to have no problem accessing FBI computers. Either the Connors or Cameron (depending on what shape she is in) could find an FBI agent useful and might actually seek Ellison out. I would think Cameron would be more likely to initiate this, and John would welcome him aboard as he has everyone else he thought useful. Ellison won't be fired. There is a witness, more or less, in Charlie Dixon. But he will be in the doghouse. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What happens to Agent Ellison? Is he fired?
Apr 28 2008, 3:13 AM EDT I think he is a religious nut that believes the robot war is the biblical apocalypse. I think he wants judgement day and that is why the terminator didn't kill him. I think he will remain in the FBI and help the terminators. You can tell the cromartie knows him when he goes to get the file and is told agent ellison has it and the terminator says "james ellison". Makes me think he has a role to play in judgement day arriving. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
