skynet's strategy
Apr 2 2008, 4:56 PM EDT skynet has pretty much his work cut out for him...he is a machine...thinks logicallly ...with cold preciision but i have always wondered if i were him or it, or responsible for their evil plans.. how i'd go about the john/sarah/kyle problem 1...skynet sends two terminators to 1983...mumber two lies dormant in some storeroom...number one does his thing as in t1 2...then on the night john is born...number two wake up, enters the hospital and blows both of them to kingdom come... she can't run very far...her body is tired... she can't run very fast...she has a baby... she cant hide very welll....babies cry a lot... she cant fight back (not that she ever can) or fire a gun..she has to hold the baby... or better still if it all happens during birth...talk about ducks in a pond) Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 2 2008, 5:05 PM EDT Im doubful that Sarah gave birth to John in a hospital, because there would be records of the birth and that would put them on the radar, but in saying that your theory is intresting. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 3 2008, 3:24 AM EDT "Im doubful that Sarah gave birth to John in a hospital, because there would be records of the birth and that would put them on the radar, but in saying that your theory is intresting."yes...that is right ...overlooked that bit...she was kinda living off the grid during those times.....it was just months after number one was killed by kyle so her paranoia was at its highest level........back to the thinking room. ok....number two boots up (number two has to be t-1000 model this time not t-101) and tracks them down like t-1000 did..but instead of hunting them he must befriend them...kinda like how cameron fooled john before the attack...it is known they can carry on this charade as long as they do not fight...like the case of of mrs pack....so he tags along everywhere and actually helps them.....since every time he meets them he is a different person since he can shift.... i believe he world get closer as an impostor that he would as a hunter....if one identity is compromised he can just shift and enter their lives as a new person...this way he is always onto them...without them being on high alert.... after that he can choose his moments well..... one thing is certain...though she is of the grid she still needs help from resourceful people..like the old guy at the gun farm.....the jungle guerrilla army...(what a place to hide someone huh) Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 3 2008, 5:05 AM EDT I reckon it will calculate the probability of success of sending 1 or more terminators, into different points in time. It also failed to add Kyle Reese into the equation. To be honest, a man (albeit from a badass future) with 20th century weapons would stand a very small chance against a killing machine so Skynet probably thought that it was insignificant. I actually liked the approach the writers took in TSCC better. It shows strategy, reasoning and cunning, not like the brute-force approach from the terminator movies. Neatly illustrates the transition from the primarily military AI Skynet to the chess player Skynet. Send a term back to kill JC. In case it fails, send a term back to make sure ARTIE is built. And, send another term to stockpile the Coltan. Who knows how many others it sent to do who knows what. Could be a programmer working in a computer firm, techie in a telco company, etc. Do you find this valuable? |

According to the post - John's blood type can not be produced by this mating - or terminator would have picked this up - and lied again - she covered up that she, the terminator, now knows John is not related to Sara - Could she have know this before? It seems Camron is a mole Do you find this valuable? |

It seems Camron is a mole"I think it was also pointed out by someone that this was a writers mistake. I don't know which one to believe and since no one knows where they'll go with the series -- who knows what the truth is. I think Sarah is his real mother but there might be something strange about the birth -- after all they seem to place messianic importance on his character. Do you find this valuable? |
