I think this answer is incorret
Mar 28 2008, 2:33 PM EDT Hey great quiz!!! However I don't think this answer correct. I believe the Arnold Terminator is a T-800 series model 101. The model number is what makes him look like Arnold, not the series of Terminator. For example the Terminators sent to protect John in T2 and T3 are just other T-800 series model 101s. However there are many different models of T-800 Terminator who look different; i.e. the T-800 that invades the bunker during Kyle's flash back sequence (or Derek Reese's flash back in the Sarah Connor Chronicles) is also a T-800 series but a different model since it doesn't look like Arnold. It's just like how in the TV show we see a few different models of T-888s Cromartie/Kester, VIck ect. Also shouldn't it say the Terminator dispatched to kill Sarah Connor instead of "the Terminator dispatched by Sarah Connor"? Hope this is helpful! Best, Luke Do you find this valuable? |

RE: I think this answer is incorret
Mar 28 2008, 3:41 PM EDT I suppose the real answer is in the credits of the movie, which apparently state that he's a T-101. Interesting that there are TWO different model # questions, both possibly igniting the same debate/discussion about model vs. series numbers. Good point about the way the answer is written. I think, technically, it's both ways: it was dispatched to kill Sarah, but she managed to "dispatch" it in the end. LOL Do you find this valuable? |

RE: I think this answer is incorret
Mar 28 2008, 10:45 PM EDT Just to confuse things more. The Audio Book of T3 says he's both a "T-101" early on and "T-800" later in the book . So T-800 model 101 makes sense. The old rubber skin guys were T-600, the "Johnny 5's" were T-1, so why would the machines retrograde his designation number. I thought Arnold's model was older due to the single processor and the heavy frame 200 kg 440 lbs while Cameron and Chormatie and Vick must weight people normal , uh , er weight. When Arnold jumped on things they got bent. Let's take a vote! LukeA is right Do you find this valuable? |

Mar 29 2008, 7:44 AM EDT Arnold's weight is subject to whatever the producer/director/whoever feels like happens to think it should be. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
