Wild-Kat	Christian Bale as John Connor in the new Terminator movie Mar 19 2008, 4:59 PM EDT Thanks to LiquidMetal, we've heard that Christian Bale is set to be John Connor in the new Terminator movie. I've seen quite some movies with him, and he can give depth to a character pretty well :) I'm looking forward to see his twist on John Connor :) Post reply 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Halcyon is fast tracking the Terminator movies, and shooting on the first one is set to start in April '08 and released in May 2009. That is a pretty small window for a movie with a $185 million dollar budget. Hopefully they do it justice and not push it out like they did for Matrix 2 and 3. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Its a terminator movie so I will see it,non-the-less, but they coulda found a better actor, I think...." i'm with u on this one...... could be worse......... coulda chose peter parker :/ is marcus the new terminator? if thats the case then thats probably not the best choice either. terminators r suppose to be massive, hence why skynet chose sgt william candy as a template for the t-800 the more advanced models seems to have a smaller endoskeleton BUT we r talking about later in the war. this actor chose for marcus doesn't look like he's 1/3 of the size of ahnold... ahnold all the way! :P Post reply Do you find this valuable?

LiquidMetal	RE: Christian Bale as John Connor in the new Terminator movie Mar 20 2008, 12:43 PM EDT According to a post over at ScreenRant, Paul Haggis will be re-writing the upcoming Terminator 4 screenplay. If true, this is almost as good as hearing Christian Bale will star. Paul Haggis is best known for his award winning film CRASH, and should bring some real writing power to the movie. This is all good ! According to a posting over at ScreenRant, John Connor will be a minor role and instead the main character will be Marcus played by Sam Worthington. IMO, there is no way John Connors will be, can be, or should be a minor player. This has to be misinformation. Marcus is a Terminator in the mold of a T-800 (Arnold's cousin). Further, the character of Marcus is compared to a Riddick character. He is in a coma and wakes up 15 years into the war between the machines and mankind and in a nut shell he kicks alot of ass and takes alot of names. It also states that the carnage and scale of the war in Terminator 4 will be mind blowing. Needless to say kids, Terminator Salvation should kick some serious ass! Bale is an amazing actor, how could he not do well? Can you provide some kind of reason as to how he would be a bad John Connor? He has the right look, attitude and build and he is a proven action hero. Found a better actor...give me a break. Have you seen American Psycho, the machinist, Rescue Dawn, Harsh Times, The Prestige, 3:10 to Yuma, or any other excellent movie with incredibly varied roles he has been in? I would have to see who you consider a better actor..and if you say Thomas Dekker in makeup i will give up on life. In fact as far as choices go Dekker in the show isnt bad but whoever decided he needed that haircut should be fired. He comes off as some kind of spoiled pretty boy.
