What do you want to see more of? Action or Drama or Suspence?
Mar 17 2008, 2:02 AM EDT I definately want to see all three genres. I love the action and I want more! I personally thought that this series wouldn't be able to deliver the drama or the suspence. But I was terriblely wrong? I can't get enough! What are your opinions with regard to this? What do you want to see more of? What scenes remain close to you this season with regard to that? Any Ideas for Next season? 13 out of 14 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What do you want to see more of? Action or Drama or Suspence?
Mar 17 2008, 2:09 AM EDT I want drama. I want deep emotionally driven character drama. I don't want overload where every week we're rolling our eyes or something. But, I like the drama, even if it's a little bit they show. The suspense is good but every now and then. I don't want to feel like my heart is about to stop every week ya know? heh. If there's one thing I don't want this show to do is pull a "Lost" and ask way more questions than they're answering. That show is driving me nuts and I'm going to stop watching it because it's just insane how they jerk around the viewer. So if TSCC gets its second season, I hope they don't do that. And of course, they're doing great with the action. 14 out of 16 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 17 2008, 2:18 AM EDT I would like to see more romance. That's right. Fuck Action. Fuck the Drama. Fuck the Suspense. Just show me 60 minutes of John-on-Cameron nookie action and I'll be happy. 12 out of 37 found this valuable. Do you? |

But, I like the drama, even if it's a little bit they show.I agree with you on the LOST thing. In fact I've actually stopped watching Lost because of that very reason. It just gets old after a while when you are never left satisfied in the end of the show. That's what I like about Terminator. They don't leave you hanging every episode. Instead they make you feel satisfied. I think the only episode they left everyone hanging on was the 9th and final episode. I like the suspence/drama/thriller they bring to the show using Cromartie. Has anybody noticed to that the show has a little bit of Dry humor with the Terminators themselves. Like the line, "Thankyou for your coroporation." or "I've never smoke a little bit of maryrijuna" Any other opinions with regard to seeing more action, suspence, drama? 8 out of 10 found this valuable. Show a little back bone and hold off on the profanity kiph. I respect you opinion and I do agree we need more romance in the show but hold off on the expressinary words. What would Summer Glau think of you? I think she might be offended. 22 out of 24 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What do you want to see more of? Action or Drama or Suspence?
Mar 17 2008, 2:52 AM EDT The most interesting facet (IMHO) of the show is the interaction (and potential relationships) between the main cast members; John & Cameron – “future John” & Cameron - Sarah & Cameron – Derek & Sarah – Derek & Cameron… The writer’s have so many different dramatic options open for developing honest relations between these characters that the show could run for several years, just on this aspect alone. (I wouldn’t mind watching over those several years.) It’s an “Action drama”, so some action is required to prevent it becoming a soap opera. Hey, moderation in all things.. The writer’s are currently doing an exceptional job of balance. Can’t wait for Season #2… K e v 3 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Because a lot of show out there lack that quality. Everything now is about watch every episode or your going to MISS SOMTHING! I don't like that. The only show that I watch that does that was "24" because I knew at the end of the season they won't leave you hanging. But LOST on the other hand was really good. But they never gave the Audience a break when it came to suspence. They always seemed to leave me asking more questions. So I stopped watching it. Anybody else would like to share their thoughts regarding what they would like to see more of next season? Action, Suspence, Drama, Romance, Thriller? 1 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Your comment actually gives me a good lead in for what I wanted to say when I read the thread topic. Action, Drama, Suspense? -- me, I want those questions that are nagging me answered. They don't have to answer the big questions(like how it all ends) that would ruin the show -- but if they will just answer enough of those that won't force an end to the show I'll be satisfied. Heroes is a better example than Lost of how to do it. The big questions about how all the heroes came into being (how it all started, how the eclipses fit in) -- those things remain unanswered -- but each season they give us a storyline that they essentially answer all the questions within that season's storyline(or most of them) - I realize they have cliffhangers. So the big unanswered questions keep you interested for the long run and the answered questions in the wrapped storyline keep you satisfied. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

"They need to send Ahnold to the island and systematically tell them all "you have been targeted for termination", done, finito, series finale, lol. I used to love Lost, and I'll still watch it, but it's definitely "lost" its lusture. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 17 2008, 3:50 PM EDT "Yes. Me too. I want to see a good mixture of all three. And lot's of Summer."I'm sure we all can agree that this show has a good combination of the three Genres. Which many shows today lack. Or have to much of one particular genre. I do notice that many people this year because of the writers strike don't like shows that leave you hanging every week with questions and too much suspence. They seem to prefer shows that leave people with a sence of satisfaction at the end. I've noticed that Terminator is a good example of this along with the show Smallville and/or Heros 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: What do you want to see more of? Action or Drama or Suspence?
Mar 17 2008, 5:42 PM EDT I think the show already has a good mixture of action, drama, and suspense (not to mention a little humor). What surprised me most about the show was its dramatic aspect. With a Terminator show, I'd expect top-notched action and suspense, but I blown away by the quality of drama in the episodes, specifically John wrestling with what he wants to be in the present (a normal teen) and what he is destined to become (a savior for the human race); Sarah's relationship with John; her relationship with Charley; the bond that's forming between John and Derek. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. An example of too much of a good thing spoiling the whole show - when a little is good it doesn't mean a lot is better. An example of too much of a good thing spoiling the whole show - when a little is good it doesn't mean a lot is better.Yeah they started all action the first few epidsodes than they went into the Drama. And that is what so far has been captivating the audience. That along with the suspence/humor of Cromartie. I hope they continue with the ingredients. I like the fact that they jump around when it comes to genres. Just to keep the audience jumping around. Because when you focus too much on certain genres the show lacks paceing. Maybe some things similar to that of episode 4 when John would go and do something by himself with the rest of the group not knowing exactly what he was up to. 0 out of 1 found this valuable.
