What have you heard about the new Terminator movie trilogy?
Feb 27 2008, 7:20 PM EST So, what have you all heard about the new Terminator movie series that is planned? I think it's called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, and it's the first of a new trilogy... Anybody know how all the pieces might fit? I would think this new one has nothing to do with the SCC series... 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Feb 27 2008, 8:28 PM EST I wonder when Judgment Day is supposed to happen according to this movie. It's probably not going to be 1997, and it probably won't be T3's 2003. Maybe it will be 2011 like this show? They're always updating it to keep it modern. Feh, Anyways, after several years of being at war, don't you think John would have balls by then? I mean, I can understand the weight of being a savior, but it has been explored in T3 and SCC. Let's stop having a whiny character and move on to one with strength inside and out. Do you find this valuable? |

Feb 27 2008, 8:34 PM EST I don't think the young teenage John in this series is whimpy. Is he already suppose to be a great leader and tough beyond his years? Not Yet! I think more things need to happen before he starts showing us the side we all can't wait to see. Right now he's a confused teen that really hasn't excepted his role, or destiny because he thinks they can change it. I think when he has to step up to the plate he will. Who knows in the end he may be willing to sacrifice his own life just to save the world. That's a real savior. Just my two cents. Huge fan! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 17 2008, 7:05 PM EDT Judgement Day will occur on the 175th day in either 2029 or 2059. I believe the former. Skynet knows it will cease to exist in 2029. It is doing everything it can to save itself. Sending all those termintors back, multiple timelines, and both John and Skynet continue to exist. No matter what we do in the present, the future IS set. Time adjusts itself and shifts back to the war between man and machines. This will be proven out in the next three T-movies with Christian Bale. Sam Worthington will play a Terminator named "Marcus". No other cast members have been announced. There is a chance of a cameo by Arnold, which was reported one year ago, but nothing since. Do you find this valuable? |

I read it on a few websites when I was doing research about the Salvation Movie. I guess look out for it next year..... 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
