What did you think of the ep? I think Sarah handled Dr. Silberman beautifully. Even Sarah was never acted that irrational.

Cameron... she's definitely not cut-and-dried. On the one hand, she wishes to learn, on the other, she's a cold-hearted being who lets people die once they served their purpose.

I was surprised to see Cameron not care of the 2 Russians, that's what I like about Terminator, "I I have a mission to accomplish, this is not part of my mission" wow a could cameron, but sweet at the end of the sow, very nice scene with Kyle's brother watching Cameron, "Oh no, now they are becoming creative and sensitive, mankind is doomed" Boom, boom...boom...boom, boom 1  out of 2 found this valuable. I thought it was a great ep. I think that it's good that the writers make sure to temper Cameron becoming more human by throwing in some cold reminders that there's still a lot of Terminator in her. The scene at the end where Derek saw Cameron dancing was really something. It was an absolutely beautiful sequence. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Well, if you want to be cold and logical. Cameron's mission was to find the Turk. She did what she had to do to gather information. Once she had that information, she left them to die for one of two reasons:

1. Whatever information brother and sister had was no longer of value, and therefore, there was no value in helping them. The two may try to ask Cameron for more money or the thugs themselves might try to shake down Cameron and company for money.

2. The people who murdered them were Russian Mafia. If Cameron had stopped or killed those two, there's the danger that she'd make more enemies and bring unwanted attention and more danger to John.

So, she is committed to protecting John at any cost. Yet, she still dances, and appears curious and willing to learn.

It was her signing a document giving up her parental rights to John. The same day, she planned to escape and go after John anyway. 1  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

This wasn't my favorite episode. It was good, but after D&D (last episode) it was a little bit of a let down.

Silberman was really crazy!
Though, now it seems like Ellison is going all religious on us. Perhaps he'll think Sarah is a prophet. I loved the fact that Sarah saved him, but why didn't he capture her? How did he get outside without seeing her leave? It was a little confusing.

Truly I think this episode was written JUST to see Summer dance. They do it in ALL of the shows/movies she's in.
She danced in Angel, Firefly, and sort of in Serenity.

She's really good. Though the end was a little freaky. Derek cried when he saw her. i wanted to cry with him.

Don't forget, Ellison was in a burning house, inhaling smoke when Sarah pulled him out. It would've been a short while before Ellison could get back on his feet; there's no way that he could've stopped her from leaving.

I doubt Ellison is going to think Sarah is a prophet. There are people who read the Bible and grow up to be perfectly sane adults. People can have faith.

Ellison was also drugged so he probably couldn't have done much to stop Sarah, maybe even passed out, was incoherent for a couple minutes after being pulled out. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I thought it was good. Cameron still confuses me, but I guess that's the point. After all, she IS a Terminator. Derek needs to step! I don't like him. I wonder if Agent Ellison really believes or if he's just saying that in order to find Sarah and John. And if he does believe, what will he do with the knowledge? Suffice it to say, more questions...fewer answers! 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Agreed. Can't peg what Derek was feeling though. He was feeling pure emotion sure, and there were certainly tears building in his eyes... but he also had a slight mad look of horror. A bit of insanity...

Really quite disturbing... and pleased to see it. ;)

I want to love this show because it is based on famous movie. But it is difficult to watch. The actors are all very good and the stories are good. But something is wrong. I don't know what????

Maybe I should not be looking at science fiction.

I was upset that the Russians are killed, especially the ballet teacher. Also, that was really terrible what happened to the nice black guy. I was very scared for him.

I like the girl who plays Sarah but when she was having tantrum inside her bedroom at sanitorium, Sarah looked very weak. My friends say she looks too delicate hitting TV camera with the steel stick, like 90 pound supermodel having tantrum for cigarette. I believe she can punch like devil in real life because she always punch people just like real, very scary. But she is very delicate like Kate Moss.

I loved the robot dancing ballet. Her port de bras is extremely beautiful like a real professional dancer. If they cancel show maybe she should work for Bolshoi. But my boyfriend says Terminator robots should be big and scary like Arnold, and they do not dance ballet. They like to kill people. They do not work en pointe or do pas de chat or arabesque.

I hope the show goes on but I am not so sure. My friends say it is losing watchers fast because it is too different from movie and they stop watching after 3 weeks. :--(

You are right this episode was a total disapointment for me. After watching last weeks episode this just sucked. D&D kept me on the edge of my seat. And this Sarah Connor acts like she doesn't love Kyle. It bugs me the way, she always refers to him just as Kyle Reese.

i liked the episode. it gives you a little bit of T2 in it with cameron as a cop. you get to see her dance. but was that really necessary. Sarah doesn't want to show her love for kyle to derek. he's not suppose to know that. she loves him; she just cant show it to everyone. the end has me wondering about derek. is he going to do something to cameron. next week looks good. i really hope the final goes out with a bang. it will make it better to wait for when it returns which is in January, right? All in all it was a decent episode, I really liked the Art imitating Art thing where Cameron was dancing emotionless. I also wonder what all Derek "knows" about Cameron, I was hoping that they would "spill the beans" on this episode on that more. The way that he also acted like a father to John was pretty cool too, giving him advice and helping him to understand better. I also think he's beginning to put two and two together about his brother and John too but, Sarah's lies are keeping him in the dark still. The two hour episode next week has to be an explosive one, I can't wait to see it, I only hope it makes it another season at least though. Had the production actually been done with the original writers/producers instead of the "scabs", I believe this would have been a much better show, I can't wait to see how they make this "implode" next season. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. I was very impressed with the way Dr. Silberman's character was presented, especially in contrast to his overly winking and pointless cameo in T3. I was a bit sad that they didn't bring back Earl Boen to play him (apparently he's retired), but the Bruce Davidson does a pretty good job of conveying the same character; I recognized him in Ellison's videos before he was named (and without having seen any previews of the episode).

I am a bit puzzled by Sarah's claim that the events of Terminator 2 occurred in 1997, but perhaps that's a topic for a different thread...

It was the best episode yet! Cameron is still a split being... she's cold and calculating when it comes to life and death (for the time being?), but when it comes to the very essense of human interest and curiosity in music and the rest of the arts she wants to learn and grow.

She even danced with passion at the end, and not robotic. It also showed that Cameron does, in a way, listen to this John. She said to the Russian instructor that her "brother" told her to keep trying until she got things right (basically, don't give up).

Derek and his mixed reactions (wonder and awe and a bit of horror) to seeing Cameron dance, Sarah's narrative about machines becoming US, and playing the same music as the basement in the future sure left you with a puzzlement. That makes it compelling... what happened to Reese in the basement?

Was it this Cameron Derek faced? Is it a different model that looks like Cameron and Derek is going to mistakenly finger our Cameron? What was she doing to people in the basement if it was this Cameron (double agent)? Was it perhaps Cameron's human counterpart? Skynet gets its templates for terminators from someplace... it might just be from real people.

Da da duummmm!

The best episode yet. I'm an action junkie and this episode had the least action af all episodes and still it worked like a charm, even better. The score, the beautiful camerashots and the story all came together in this one which came to a climax in the last scene. The best scene in the series so far when Cameron is dancing. Beautiful.
