Why doesnt SkyNet "bribe" some humans and use them against the rest?
Feb 24 2008, 5:49 AM EST When I was seeing T1 and T2 long back, and reading Terminator Comics, a question used to come to my mind "why does SkyNet want to kill all humans in one go? Why doesn't SkyNet bribe some humans, take them on its side and use them to kill the rest?". IOW, why doesn't SkyNet use "divide and rule" strategy that many invaders use. The episode S01E05 - Queen's Gambit makes it clear. SkyNet was derived from chess program. In chess, .you don't have option on "bribing" enemies' rock or pawn. You only think of annihilating all pieces of the enemy. So SkyNet does not consider option of using humans against humans, but takes option of annihilating all humans. . 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

If SkyNet was derived from GO program
Feb 24 2008, 5:52 AM EST If SkyNet was derived from a GO program instead of a chess program, it would have considered the option of taking some humans on its side and annihilating rest (In GO , IIRC, the players also have option of converting others' pawn into his own). 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
