Discussion: FOX picks up TSCC for 2nd season!!!

Terminating the show would give Skynet the victory it needs to complete it's extermination of humans everywhere.

In order to prevent such a tragedy, I, along with millions of others, people who like it here!, have been preparing to boycott the Fox network were they to attempt to cancel this show. For this isn't a matter of dollars and cents, the future history of our planet depends on the choices we make here today in defense of our world.

"Apparently, since the ratings have been holding above 8 million, which is what was expected, FOX has re-upped the show for 2nd season to air in January 2009. This is great news for us!

I heard this on the radio in Boston while driving home from work (snow day today :-D). The hosts were saying how much they liked this show, and were relieved it was picked up.

Finally, we can all stop holding our breath."

"This guy has only made one post, and a very similar message was posted at the MOAD forums, also by a user with only one post.

That's not to say that TSCC won't get renewed (I'm certain that it will), but this guy is just pulling our collective legs. Also, hopefully when they actually do renew the show, they'll start season 2 in september or october and make it a lot longer than season 1."
