I knew the writers screwed something up when the scientist was talking about getting "growth rates" from the lab. They mean "growth factors", which are special proteins promoting cell differentiation, NOT numerical "factors" describing growth like the writers seem to think they are by renaming them "rates". (On the whole, though, I'm impressed with this show's use of science.) Do you find this valuable?
