The Song in the Dell Shop
Jan 16 2008, 2:00 AM EST What was that techno-kind of song that played when John entered the Dell shop? Anybody knows what's it called? It's like one of those stupid Chumbawamba songs you can't get out of your head. To be more specific, here's the clip from the episode. http://rapidshare.com/files/84060709/dffg.mp3.html I did my research and found out the song's called Dfg 3 and it's apparently from the Total Annihilation (1997) soundtrack by Jeremy Soule. Jan 18 2008, 11:56 AM EST I actually spent a few minutes hunting on google and found this site/page/post. Glad to know I wasn't the only one that was curious about the song as well! I did a bit of searching, and it seems like Jeremy Soule has done a lot of compositions of videogame music. Unfortunately I don't recognize the song and don't have access to this album, so I cannot tell what it is. It's slower than typical electronic music though, which in trance/house/breaks, averages around 140bpm. I don't have access to a metronome here, but I can estimate that this is around 100bpm, more around the average for standard pop/hiphop, or maybe also some older electronic music from the 90s. Do you find this valuable? |
