She was such a plain, passive actress, until the episode when she came ashore with the crew, observed a village dancing, and then (because of River's incredible gifts) started in dancing with the natives. It was fun to watch her whole personality change in that episode, and she really could dance! She's physically talented; if you watched "Serenity", you could see she had great physical dexterity. She was pretty good acting in that, although her role wasn't as well-developed. Of course, I loved her coming into The 4400; as I noted to a fellow "brownshirt" after watching the episode where she has a psychotic break and goes back to being at her 16th birthday, "She sure cleans up well!" :) I think she runs the risk of being underutilized, because playing a cyborg on Terminator hasn't brought people great acting range (unlike cyborgs on Battlestar Gallactica). But, I will watch the first two episodes, and hope the series develops into a good series. 2 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Her character was instrumental in the recovery of a scientist who would help to create Promycin for distribution. She had a recurring role after that; her ability was to control people's actions. It's rather/often creepy facial expression that turns me off with her, as if she's one of The Grudge characters.
