After Terminator 2, Sarah went into hideout in Mexico with John period. There were no other Terminators to speak of. She stayed in the hospital fighting leukemia and stayed alive long enough to see judgment day did not come on the date she thought it would. As soon as she died John left and stayed off the grid. Terminator 3 told us all of that. I hate to see the story line of the Terminator broken like this. The show should have concentrated on where 3 left off, and started with the war and resistance. Not a drama of events that didn't happen according to the true Terminator story line. Disappointing.....

Lyrics for "The Future " The John Connor Song
By Thomas Dekker Well I've been round and round this little thing called time And it hasn't brought an ounce of solace to my mind I've been fighting every day a war that's not begun No time for tears through the static in my head or the flying lead This is the way That I have been raised This is the day That they're gonna have to pay I've traded my heart for a gun 'Cause I've been told I'm the only one To put an end to all that I've ever known And now the time has come I know the past is gone And I'm gonna be...a machine Everything you've created Is only built to destroy And now the man that's hiding in this boy Is gonna save you by doing the same I'm gonna blow the future away I'm gonna start the war Today We're gonna blow the future Away Where are the angels? Do they still have a soul? I am my mother's son And I will fight until I've won And I am my mother' son My life has just begun And I am my mother's son I'm gonna prove that I'm the one http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=195978378 Go here to hear it. I don't know if you all have seen this before. I thought oh well i will post it just in case.

I was reading an article online today that basically says that the World Wide Web is to be replaced by a new Internet called "The Grid". It's 10,000 times faster than any high speed internet available today (Read at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/04/06/ninternet106.xml). With Robotics coming online in Asia and "The Grid" in Europe - is Cameron's Sci-Fi tomorrows reality?
I love this show and loved the movies - but were is the line? Your opinions?

I was at the Panel for the Sarah Connor Chronicles at Comic-con 2007, and saw the entire first episode without commercials. It absolutely blew me away. It made up for the terrible Terminator 3 movie. Sarah Connor Chronicles became the new Terminator program to erase and replace Terminator 3. I could hardly wait for it to begin and then the writers strike shortend the season.
I sure hope Sarah Connor Chronicles returns for Season 2. It would be a terrible shame if Fox canceled one of the best shows they've ever had. I was hooked on it at Comic-con and I was more hooked on it with every episode. I know many people in San Diego who watch it all the time and if aany of them had to miss an episode they would catch it on the website. Fox, please don't cancel Sarah Connor Chronicles. It would be absolutely unfair to all SciFi fans.

I love every movie and series of The Terminator since they began then show in 1984 till now. However, I always feel that the writters made a big mistake with timeline and existence.
Please go ahead and corrent me if I am wrong or if I've left out anything. In T1, Kyle Reese was sent back to protect Sarah because she would bear a child who would be the leader of mankind. That child's name would be John Connor. To be more accurate, John sent Kyle back to protect his own mother. When Kyle was in the past, he got intimate with Sarah who got pregnant and so, Kyle became the father of John Connor. Skip forward to the future: before Kyle was sent back, John Connor already existed WITH Kyle Reese, which means, since Sarah is no Mother Mary, someone had to be the father already. So how can John send his own 'father' back in time (who was actually younger than him) to go back to protect his mother and at the same time get her pregnant so that he(John) will be who he is in the future, when not sending Kyle back doesn't affect John's existence? If Kyle got Sarah pregnant in the past for John to exist, then John couldn't have sent Kyle back to protect his mother from the very beginning because he shouldn't have existed.

Josh Friedman: As everyone's wondering, we are getting rid of Summer Glau... no, I'm kidding. If anyone was worrying that we blew her up in the end and she's not coming back, I'll reassure you that she is coming back, eventually, in full force. I will say that I brought the entire writing staff from last year, every single person. I was really happy with what people did last year. I think, in a weird way, it's kind of like a sports team. Consistency and continuity are a big part of it, so we're looking to make as few changes as we can. We felt pretty good at where we ended up. We've had little drop-outs of people, some people got other jobs on the crew because the schedules are different, but, I think on the whole, it's pretty much going to be the same group from last year. In terms of Brian, that character and Brian's portrayal of it, people really responded to him last year. We have some stuff that we're interested in doing with him this year. One of the ironies are you put someone on your show, and they do a really good job, and all of the sudden everyone wants to hire them, so you sort of have to lock them up. Brian was becoming a little popular, based on the show, so we moved as swiftly as possible to make sure he was going to stay in Terminator-land for as long as we needed him.

As well as the Wizard of OZ and Religious themes running through the show I was wondering whether the Chess aspect and in particular the sacrificing of a piece (a queen?) is significant to the plot line? What do you think ?

Im kinda getting a little off topic but it some was I feel the terminator series and the matrix series connects. why I say this...well lets say if the machines win the war and the machines start using human beings as their energy source, growing countless people in pods and harvesting their bioelectrical energy and body heat because the sky is covered in thick black clouds created by the humans in an attempt to cut off the machines' supply of solar power. Tell me your thoughts on this subject.

Why didn't Cromartie kill Agent James Ellison? Seems like everyone i talk to asks this question. I think it's obvious! Cromartie knows Agent Ellison is looking for Sarah Connor. Killing him than, would only hinder Cromartie's search, since any authority figure finding Sarah and John Connor is nice homing beacon for a terminator.
Your thoughts?

The 2nd half of the season finale reminded me of a high quality indie film. I am not a big tv watcher and NEVER watch a tv show more than once, but this season finale is the best thing I've seen on prime tv in many years. I can't believe there's even any "question" about whether this show should continue. It already has a cult-like following which is destined to grow.

I have been a fan of Terminator since the eighties when T1 came on HBO and scared the crap out of me. When it rose from the wreckage and came rapidly hobblin' down the hall after Kyle and Sarah. I saw T2 in the theater when I was about 14 - I think - man that was a great day. The movie was one of those rare ones that come along every so often and show us something we've never seen before. When T3 rolled around, I have to admit that seeing the previews where Arnold says "she'll be back" turned me off. I wasn't going to go see it. I bought the book and finished it in 2 days. I was surprised by the ending and the description of some of the action - and then I had to see the movie. I liked it. The scene where the TX is driving that big truck crane and bashing Arnold into everything was wild - then when he drops the hook and it catches - BAM - she smashes down like I hoped she would. Since then, I have read alot of the terminator books out there: Infiltrator, Rising Storm, The Future War, Terminator Dreams, Terminator Hunt - most of these books are pretty cool - I always wanted to know what might have happened after T2. I think the idea of a T4 fighting in the future could be cool if someone clever writes the story and a good director handles the rest. Now, as for the show - I watched every episode. I thought it was OK - the terminators were pretty laim. Either they try too hard to look like a Terminator or they just don't succeed - but I did like some of the ideas. I liked seeing other Resistance guys being sent back, not just one. I liked some of the storylines introduced in some episodes - like the FBI agent starting to believe, Derrick Reese taking John to see Kyle as a kid, Dr. Silverman believing. Although the acting in most episodes was subpar, the show had its moments. It was good to see Brian Austin Green back on Fox - not since the days of 90210. Final thought - the last episode was Great. Clever - and loved the Johnny Cash scene

I read repeatedly in these threads that T-3 was a bad movie. I don't see that at all. I think most people missed Sarah Connor - otherwise the story was strong with mediocre acting but great action and humor. What are your opinions?
