Unofficial backstory: Sarah J. Connor was born in 1965 in California. She went to college and was studying for a 'normal' life. In May 1984, her life was turned inside out when a T-800 arrived from 2029: its sole intention, the termination of both her and her then-yet unborn son John. A soldier of the human resistance, Kyle Reese, was also sent back, to protect her. Sarah fell in love with the stranger over the next few days, resutling in John's conception. Sarah managed to defeat the terminator by crushing him in a hydraulic press, but lost Reese in the process. In February 1985, Sarah gave birth to John. She soon began mixing in militia-related circles in order to gain knowledge to teach John later. Her capture by authorities while attempting a terrorist attack on a computer factory brought about her remantion to the Pescadero State Hospital, due to her explanations of the future war being mistaken for insanity. After escaping Pescadero in 1995 with the help of John and a T-800 terminator protector, the latter sent to protect him from a second, and even more advanced, T-1000 assassin, the three attacked and destroyed the Cyberdyne Systems Corporation headquarters with the help of Miles Bennett Dyson, the computer engineer responsible for much of the development of the microprocessor technology directly leading to the creation of Skynet. While Dyson perished in the assault, the remaining three subsequently managed to defeat the T-1000, only to watch the T-800 destroy himself also. John and Sarah then headed off on their own... |
