Films timeline 1965-1984 Born 1965, Sarah lived a normal life growing up. At the age of 18, she waorked as a waitress at Beg Jeff's family restaurant and shared a two-story apartment in the Palm District with her flatmate Ginger Ventura while studying at college. But everything Sarah had ever known was to change that year in 1984. Targeted for termination, a 800 Series Infiltrator was sent back in time to eliminate Sarah, her only hope was the Resistance soldier Sergeant Kyle Reese, sent back to protect her. Through Reese, Sarah learned of Judgement Day, Skynet, the machine armies, and the part that she would play in their downfall as the mother of the as-yet unborn Resistance leader John Connor. While evading the Terminator, Sarah and Kyle grew close and spent one night together - resulting in John's conception. With Reese's help, Sarah defeated the Terminator, and began on her way to becoming a great military leader. With the use of audio cassettes, Sarah recorded all that had happened, and everything that her unborn son would need to know to survive. 1984-1995 Going into hiding, Sarah gave birth to John on 1985-02-28 and began his training, learning from whoever would teach them. It was not until she attempted to blow up the local offices of some computer corporation, getting herself caught by the police that she was seen again by the authorities. Upon trying to warn of the impending Judgement Day, Sarah was handed over to the custody of Dr. Peter Silberman at the Pescadero State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, where she was diagnosed with acute schizo-affective disorder and institutionalized, her son John being put into foster care. When Sarah was 29 years old, another Terminator, this time a T-1000, was sent back to eliminate Sarah's ten-year-old son John. With the help of her son, and a reprogrammed 800 series Terminator sent back in time to protect him, Sarah broke out of Pescadero. Trying to prevent Judgement Day, Sarah found out about Skynet's construction by Miles Dyson, and set out to kill him. Although she found herself unable to eliminate him in cold blood, she helped convince Dyson to stop work on Skynet and destroy all his files and the Cyberdyne Systems building. Upon the destruction of Cyberdyne (resulting in Dyson's death) and both Terminators, Sarah took John back into hiding, training him to become a great military leader and tactician. 1995-1997 (Terminator 3 timeline) Three years later, after training John in the ways of warfare and leadership, and ensuring that Judgement Day did not take place on its original date, Sarah Connor finally died in 1997 from leukemia, three years after her initial diagnosis in Baja (although one interpretation of the timeline would suggest that this means she would have been aware of her condition at the time of T2). She was cremated in Mexico, and her friends scattered her ashes into the sea. Never believing that they had truly won even in the end, she had her friends store weapons in a coffin in a mausoleum in Valley of Peace cemetary. 1990s-2007 (Sarah Connor Chronicles timeline) Sara and John escape from authorities across the country and end up in New Mexico where Cromartie identifies John and attempts to kill him. Fortunately, he had been tracked down first by Cameron and saved. Sarah, John, and Cameron drive to Los Angeles to find out information about Miles Dyson and are unsuccessful. Cromartie catches up again and Cameron suggests they go to a safety deposidt box in a bank. After forcing their way to the vault, they locate pieces of a plasma gun and a time machine, which they use to travel to 2007. | Sarah's birth and death According to the script for The Terminator (1984) - available on the Special Edition DVD - Sarah was 19 years old. The film was set from May 12th through May 14th of 1984, placing her birth date between 1964-05-11 and 1965-05-15. In Terminator 2 Sarah's psychologist states that she is 29. The film itself takes place on a summer weekend when John (born 1985-02-28) is age 10 (between 1995-05-27 and 1995-09-02). This places Sarah's birth date between 1965-05-28 and 1966-09-02, making her 17 or 18 during The Terminator. The tombstone shown in Terminator 3 (2003) reads 1959-1997. The birth year would make her 24 or 25 during The Terminator. Her death was described as from leukemia shortly after the original "Judgement Day" (1997-08-29). The T3 DVD data files give her birth year as 1965. The alternate ending for Terminator 2 (1991) - available on the Ultimate Edition DVD - shows Sarah alive and well on August 29th, 2029. SHe is by then a grandmother (and John is a Senator) in a world where Skynet was never able to start its war on humanity. The Pilot episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, picks up Sarah and John on the run in 1999. Her FBI file lists her age as 33 on 1999-08-24, placing her birth date between 1965-08-25 and 1966-08-24. This would make her 17 or 18 during The Terminator. In "Gnothi Seauton", Cameron Phillips mentions that Sarah would have died from cancer in 2005, had they not jumped forward in time she wouldn't have been able to help fight Skynet. Cameron also mentions that John Connor sent Cameron back in time to let Sarah jump to 2007. At the end of the episode Sarah is at a doctor's office, where her forged drivers license shows her current alias' birthday as February 4th. For the sake of comparison, Linda Hamilton was born in September 1956, three years before the earlies date given for Sarah's birth in T3, 1959. Lena Headey was born in October 1973, making her 33 at the time the first season was filmed and the same age Sarah is said to be in 1999. | Notes

I was chatting on another MB about Sarah's time in Central America - I don't know much about the history of the region and I was wondering who and where Sarah was likely to have hid out and begun learning to be a fighter when John was small.
Anyone have any ideas?

I really like this show but the only thing that really bugs me is that the person playing Sarah Connor doesn't really show her love for Kyle Reese. It just rubs me the wrong way, how she always refers to him as Kyle Reese is that how you would refer to the love of your life. Ms. Headey doesn't seem to be able to express that emmotion well, she tries but at the end she fails. The John Connor character does a superb job, whenever he refers to his father, You can just tell that even though he has never met his father, he cares and loves him. I just don't like the way this Sarah seems to care more about this Charlie chacter than Kyle. The terminator story is about the great love between Kyle and Sarah and how through that love John Connor came to be.

Oh this actress seems right but Katie would cause more interest...and who will Play the Terminator? This movie needs help ...Arnold makes this movie...and he will not be doing it...WHO CAN TAKE HIS PLACE AND FILL THE BOX OFFICE...DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS?
