Lena Headey

She does a really good job playing Sarah :) She seems to have a great future in acting ahead of her...I wish her the best!

"Again, the school doesn't exist. It's a euphemism...... She was spotted in her first stage production (NYT). The NYT is a wonderful program here in the UK, providing performance opportunities for students no matter what their background. Some participants go on to RADA , Guildhall School of Music & Drama LAMDA, etc. Ms. Headey did not.

Another inaccuracy in that quote is that she was born in Yorkshire. Ms. Headey was born in Bermuda and raised in Yorkshire. Hudderfield to be more accurate. Her mum and dad still live there.

I think they're a little bit of a case of apples and oranges, but the essential foundation is the same. Lena said of her own understanding of the character that her love for John is something very "primal," so I'd say she gets the basis. There's a great deal of leeway in who Sarah would be at this point in her life, a few years after having destroyed Cyberdine and relaxing to settle down into a normal life. We see her transitioning a bit into that at the end of T2 when she hugged John for the first time, before that the closest she came to any kind of normal display of affection was roughing him up to check for bullet wounds.
Overall, I think Linda's was perfect for the story being told in both movies and was excellent. 10/10
Lena's portrayal I'd give an 8/10, with one of those points due to the writers and producers. She was perfectly willing to kill Dyson in T2, yet it's become an issue for her again in the series. And there wasn't much a transition in her character after Cromartie and Cameron showed up. The only reason she was even in the United States and letting John go to school was because she thought it was all over and done with. Her transition back to warrior seemed to pass by in the background. Other than those two specific points, her character seems somewhat unfocused, there isn't a clear feeling of who she is, but that's largely due to few scenes that have brought that forth (the most notable ones so far being in Heavy Metal) and lack of time within the shortened series to explore her character. Without that clarity, the relationship she has with John seems too normal and the everyday easiness the actors have seeps through into their roles unchecked. I only knock Lena down a point for a lack of feeling that she's really been through a war, some of the intensity of Hamilton which should have come back with all these events isn't there, but those are big combat boots to fill.
