I have been a fan of Terminator since the eighties when T1 came on HBO and scared the crap out of me. When it rose from the wreckage and came rapidly hobblin' down the hall after Kyle and Sarah. I saw T2 in the theater when I was about 14 - I think - man that was a great day. The movie was one of those rare ones that come along every so often and show us something we've never seen before. When T3 rolled around, I have to admit that seeing the previews where Arnold says "she'll be back" turned me off. I wasn't going to go see it. I bought the book and finished it in 2 days. I was surprised by the ending and the description of some of the action - and then I had to see the movie. I liked it. The scene where the TX is driving that big truck crane and bashing Arnold into everything was wild - then when he drops the hook and it catches - BAM - she smashes down like I hoped she would. Since then, I have read alot of the terminator books out there: Infiltrator, Rising Storm, The Future War, Terminator Dreams, Terminator Hunt - most of these books are pretty cool - I always wanted to know what might have happened after T2. I think the idea of a T4 fighting in the future could be cool if someone clever writes the story and a good director handles the rest. Now, as for the show - I watched every episode. I thought it was OK - the terminators were pretty laim. Either they try too hard to look like a Terminator or they just don't succeed - but I did like some of the ideas. I liked seeing other Resistance guys being sent back, not just one. I liked some of the storylines introduced in some episodes - like the FBI agent starting to believe, Derrick Reese taking John to see Kyle as a kid, Dr. Silverman believing. Although the acting in most episodes was subpar, the show had its moments. It was good to see Brian Austin Green back on Fox - not since the days of 90210. Final thought - the last episode was Great. Clever - and loved the Johnny Cash scene
