Hey, I think you're super!1

Hi, I'm Dan!

Home town
: Portland, OR

Birthday: 9/21/72

Current residence

Occupation: home theater design & installation (more as a side thing right now), salesman

MORE ABOUT ME...

My guilty pleasure(s): Chocolate Mousse with raspberry sauce

The best word to describe me is: Super Geek

My hero(es)
: Christoper Reeve

Words or phrases I overuse: Don't be a baby, it's only a flesh wound!

What else you should know about me:

I love environmental causes, am an avid reader, love all kinds of music and movies, hate the current state of politics, sang at Carnegie Hall with my high school choir, and I think Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert are GODS!! (if I had to put anyone up on a pedestal). I also think Alan Shore and Denny Crane are the two best characters on TV today... sorry Cameron and John, but you're close!

IN MY DREAMS...
In the movie version of my life, I would be played by: Matt Damon, but I look a little more like Jon Heder.

My childhood ambition/career goal: don't get arrested (ha ha)

If I were a breakfast cereal, I would be: Cocoa Puffs (it's a reference to Denny Crane's line on Boston Legal: during a court hearing he tells a reporter he's Cuckoo For Cocoa Puffs!) Loved the cereal as a kid, loved the line!

If I could live anywhere, it would be: Ireland (though it changes with every travel book I read)-- [shakes fist in the air] Rick Steves!!!!!

My dream job(s): Movie director

My dream vacation(s): Tahiti, Norway, Canadian Rockies

TO-THE-MOMENT ME

Last movie I saw: "No Country For Old Men" Absolutely spellbinding performances all around! Javier Bardem was phenomenal and completely breathed menace into every frame he was in; a wonderfully gifted actor. The ending was thought provoking. Right up there with the best Coen Brothers work.

Last book I read: The Fall of the House of Bush

Last album I listened to: Elton John's "Madman Across the Water" in 5.1 surround

Last big splurge: Paradigm Reference speakers

Last real vacation: Washington State (3 years ago!)
